What am I doing.

I am updating the HTML pages to be consistent with the EPA standards using the latest U.S. Web Design System (USWDS). The website with the standards is https://designsystem.digital.gov/

What is the process.

  1. Go to the existing webpage.
  2. Modify the components of the existing webpage to to the new standard.
    1. Using the website above as a reference.
    2. Also using swfw as a reference.
  3. Make sure that nothing I did broke the functionality.

How long does it take.

It depends on what I am doing. This is not a fast process. While I am not changing content, I am updating the and in some cases reorganizing the code. I would say on average it is about 1-3 files per hour. It honestly depends on what I am doing though. If it is new then it is closer to 1 hour. If the file is long it is closer to 1 hour. If it is shorter or I have just done a bunch of files the same way then the files go so much faster.

Some sections that have a 1 to 1 relationship with swfw went very fast. (accounts, teams, support...).
