Generate ERD for SQLite databases

This doc contains steps to generate an ERD for a SQLite database

Prerequiste

If you are using Django, please use the Generate ERD from Django Models doc.

Otherwise, download Valentina x64 from the link.

Setup

1. Setting an one-time key is free, but requires you to enter a bunch of information. You can do that if you have the time.
2. Else, you can use the app temporarily for 10 mins without requiring a key.

Generate ERD

1. Drag and drop the SQLite database of your choice in the interface.
2. Right click on the Database → Diagram → ERD
3. Give the diagram a name, and check the choose existing tables option.
4. Optional: Export the diagram as a .vdiagram file or save it as a jpg, png, pdf
